This is a complete refurbishment project for a running engineering training center with a very limited budget and ambitious ideas of having a green sustainable design that harmonizes with the center’s policy of sustainability.
The remodeling looked carefully at the program from one side and the existing building from the other side; minimum intervention was suggested keeping the most of the existing facility elements were possible - for keeping the new construction materials in minimum levels and consequently keeping cost to the minimum too.
The center comprised a number of training halls equipped with the state of the art computer systems and electrical installations.
Green concepts of total thermal insulation of walls, roof and windows, the use of an energy conserving system for air-conditioning, water conserving faucets, recyclable materials, and efficient lighting system were adopted in this design.
The façade of the building was remodeled to give a new look for the building conveying a serious public image. Our involvement included design, preparation of tender documents and supervision.
