A 1.5 km long stretch of landscaped area in the middle of a mixed-use neighborhood in Aqaba. The design concept features three themes for the park’s three main island parts; the mountains theme, the city theme, and the marine theme… representing the three main ecological zones of the Aqaba region. A distinct design language was used to address this symbolic concept.

A deliberate study of native drought-resistant plants was done to help make this park a sustainable one. Traffic was part of the study in order to determine access points, safe pedestrian movements, car circulation, and car parking areas.

Sustainable and eco-friendly materials were specified for this park to be a green urban island.
